What is Chat Over Chai?

It is a multi-culture talk with participants from across the community. Every Thursday, they meet and discuss equality, diversity, revision, crime, abuse etc. This week I was invited to observe their discussion.

For Islamophobia Awareness Month, Iman Atta OBE from Tell MAMA joined take talk and discussed Islamophobia and hate crimes. Participants expressed their personal experiences of hate crime.

Inspector Janine Sanger from Portsmouth North Neighbourhood Policing Team was at the event to understand the aspects and opinions.
