Today I attended the TECH-RI PhD Research conference at the University of Portsmouth. Students from across the Technology departments have presented their work. I was a guest speaker and have presented my project ANGTHAS: A Next-Generation Telemedicine and Health Advice System.

This project aims to create a real-time health advice platform (the commercial platform known as World health aid: https://lnkd.in/gsdJJu3Q) that can reach healthcare providers and healthcare deprived people addressing war zones and areas where victims of natural calamities. It will also help people with language and cultural barriers.

We have started working with the SIGHT Programme and the iDEA ICT Bangladesh team for the pilot study. We aim to impact the community in Bangladesh and the UK positively.

There was much new information that will help me to think progressively for future projects as a technology researcher. I thank the university for giving me the opportunity. I also appreciate Prof. Adrian Hopgood for believing me and my second and third supervisors, Dr Alice Good and Dr Alexander Gegov, for continued guidance and support. I also thank the #tri family for writing this fantastic software and Adnan Md Dewan for your support.
