Do you need to change first to be a leader?
Anything we do for our or others' satisfaction, we need to go one step ahead. Changing ourselves or changing others will not be impactful if that doesn't mean a "real change". These changes in our behaviour or tests can help others, and there is the success of a leader.
I had my #helptogrow mentoring session this week and had the group session today. Both of them helped me to learn some new knowledge.
With Elizabeth Flint, my mentor, I have understood my gaps in funding applications and I am continuing to learn how I can construct a winning application. Last week in Bangladesh we own three bids from the peoples' Republic of Bangladesh and my future bid will include a combination of UK organisation and Bangladesh collaboration to impact the society. I now know with a little help I will achieve my ultimate goal.
Furthermore, with the session today with Johanna Hooper CMgr MCMI and Becky Lodge BA (Hons) CIM, I have learnt what characteristics should a leader have to transform their business.
I will give credits to all my coursemates, without their involvement I wouldn't know various aspects of the struggle that I may face in future.
Thank you to Simon Lamb, Julia Martin, Leonie Bishop ACMA, Tanya Whelan, Stuart Mullen, Andy Jay, Richard Coles, Ally Bland, Lyn Grenyer, Jonathan Thornton, Matt Greg and John Bland for all of your lively discussion. Well done all of you. Stewart Andrews, we missed you today.
